We are a a uniformed organisation, taking pride in our unique Group colours.

We can supply all of your child’s uniform needs from our own stock. Any item that we don't have can be ordered through B-PSA's mail order service. We also keep a small supply of second hand items at a reduced cost.

It has always been the policy of this group to supply members with badges they have earned free of charge. However, we do ask for any replacements to be purchased.

Each section follows a structured training programme that offers skills development at an appropriate level for each of our members. Progress and achievement is dependent upon regular attendance.

In the interests of safety and efficiency, we reserve the right to limit membership . To this end, each section operates a waiting list when full. There is a high demand for places.

Children who fail to attend regularly may lose their membership. After a period of 5 weeks without notice, membership will automatically be withdrawn.

The B-PSA UK is an independent Scout Association with membership in the World Federation of Independent Scouts.

Our aim is to improve the personal development and future citizenship of young people by giving them a range of opportunities to work and play in groups, both indoors and out.

Under adult leadership, they find ample scope to make their own decisions. All children will be encouraged to attend a church or other faith equivalent, and take part in fund-raising for their group and other charities.

Although founded on Christian principles, it is open to all, regardless of faith, language or culture.

We are passionate about the value of the outdoors, traditional skills and our Scout Law and Promise.

We deliver our mission through a progressive and professional programme that is underpinned by a democratic, friendly and supportive organisation.

B-PSA has no paid officers, all leaders are volunteers. Each one is carefully vetted for suitability and undertake a DBS clearance before gaining their warrant.

All warranted leaders with 1st Midland are required to have scouting or childcare experience. Most have First Aid qualifications.
